Mohamad El-Zaru, M.D.
Interventional & Heart Failure Cardiologist
Dr. Mohamad El-Zaru is the founder of Pondville Cardiology Associates (PCA) in Norfolk, MA and is also an Interventional and Heart Failure Cardiologist at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Dr. El- Zaru received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiology, Heart Failure, and Transplant at Tufts Medical Center and completed a second fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Lahey Clinic.
Dr. El-Zaru continues to have a significant research career by participating in clinical studies and being on many adjudication committees for different clinical studies. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Heart Failure and Heart Transplant, Vascular Medicine, and Endovascular Interventions. Dr. El-Zaru is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Vascular Medicine.
Cardiovascular Lab & Vein Treatment Center
At PCA, we perform comprehensive cardiovascular tests, including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, cardiac monitoring, nuclear stress tests, and different vascular tests. Dr. El-Zaru performs also other vascular procedures at his office-based lab (OBL)/vascular treatment center, including venous ablations and different arterial interventions.
